How to install phpMyAdmin - BACKTRACK 5
Install Apache2
Backtrack 5 terminal open and Apache2 run
# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
or Install apache2
# apt-get install apache2
open browser and adress
It works!
This is the default web page for this server.
The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.
-Install PHP5
open terminal
# apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5
apache2 restart
# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
-Check php5
command run terminal
# gedit /var/www/phpinfo.php
past code in phpinfo.php
<? phpinfo(); ?>
and save, openbrowser adress http://localhost/phpinfo.php
-Install MySQL
command terminal
# apt-get install mysql-server libapache2-mod-auth-mysql php5-mysql
-Install phpmyadmin
# apt-get install phpmyadmin
# ln -s /usr/share/phpmyadmin/ /var/www/phpmyadmin
browser adress bar run
Uninstall phpMyAdmin
#apt-get --purge remove phpmyadmin
Install Apache2
# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
or Install apache2
# apt-get install apache2

localhostor
127.0.0.1and result get
